The rules of using Edgelogbook, written in plain language.
Edgelogbook is a trading journal and analytics tool. It helps you record, analyse, and reflect on your trading activity. It is a software product, not a financial service. We do not provide investment advice, trading signals, or financial recommendations of any kind.
By creating an account and using Edgelogbook, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Edgelogbook. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@edgelogbook.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
One person may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is not permitted and may result in account suspension.
Edgelogbook offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro and Edge). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown on the Billing page inside the app and on edgelogbook.app/pricing.
Free trial: Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Your card is not charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.
Refunds: If you experience a billing error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate and issue a refund if appropriate.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
You may use Edgelogbook for your own personal trading journal. You may not:
You own your trade data. We do not claim any rights over the trade records, journal entries, or notes you create in Edgelogbook.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service (displaying it back to you, generating AI analysis, computing analytics).
On account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
The AI coaching features in Edgelogbook analyse your historical trade data and provide observations and suggestions. This is not financial advice. AI outputs:
You are solely responsible for any trading decisions you make. Edgelogbook and its operator accept no liability for losses arising from acting on AI-generated analysis.
If you use the auto-sync feature, you are responsible for ensuring that connecting your prop firm account to Edgelogbook complies with your prop firm's terms of service. Some prop firms (notably TopstepX) restrict API access from certain server types. Edgelogbook is not responsible for account consequences arising from prop firm terms violations.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edgelogbook and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to trading losses, loss of profits, or loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
